Day 1: Vienna

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.


Day 2: Vienna

In the morning, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, during which we’ll discover its majestic avenues, impressive palaces, elegant parks, and charming historic center. At nightfall, we’ll have a transfer to the Town Hall Square, where you can admire the beautiful illumination and enjoy the lively evening atmosphere of the surrounding streets.


Day 3: Vienna - Dürnstein - Melk - Linz

Today we will tour the Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, always following the course of the Danube. Our first stop will be KREMS, a charming town on the banks of the Danube, known for its medieval old town. After that, along a small road following the Danube, we will reach DURNSTEIN, a picturesque medieval village on the banks of the Danube, surrounded by vineyards and green hills, and famous for the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned.We will then continue along the Danube Valley to MELK, where you will have time for lunch before visiting the majestic Benedictine Abbey. Admission to Melk Abbey is included—a Baroque jewel with its extraordinary library, the Marble Hall, and its beautiful gardens.We will continue our route with a brief stop in ST. FLORIAN, to admire the exterior of its impressive abbey. Arrival in LINZ will be in the mid-afternoon, the third-largest city in Austria, on the banks of the Danube. We suggest strolling through the historic center and its lively Hauptplatz.


Day 4: Linz - Gmunden - St. Wolfgang - Salzburg

Today will be the “day of the lakes,” filled with beautiful landscapes and picturesque small towns. We’ll depart for GMUNDEN, on the shores of Lake Traunsee, surrounded by mountains and elegant 19th-century villas. Here, we’ll enjoy a cruise on Lake Traunsee (approximate duration: 1 hour). We disembark in Ebensee and continue our route to ST WOLFGANG, one of the most picturesque villages in Austria, located on the shores of Lake Wolfgangsee and a famous pilgrimage site. Its narrow streets, alpine façades, and charming cafés invite you to discover it at leisure. You’ll have free time for lunch and a stroll. We then continue to SALZBURG, where we’ll arrive around 4:00 p.m. Free afternoon in this UNESCO World Heritage city, boasting a perfectly preserved Baroque old town, medieval squares, Renaissance churches, and an imposing fortress; it is also the birthplace of Mozart.


Day 5: Salzburg - SALZWELTEN MINES - ZELL AM SEE - Krimml falls - Innsbruck

Today will be the “day of the mountain landscapes.” We’ll set off for SALZWELTEN, the largest salt mines in Austria, where we’ll take the tour (underground train and boat ride on the saline lake included). Afterwards, through the mountains, we’ll head to ZELL AM SEE, a charming town on a lake surrounded by alpine peaks, with a historic center and a medieval tower. You’ll have free time to stroll and have lunch. We’ll then continue to the KRIMML waterfalls (admission included), in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park; with a total drop of 380 m over three tiers, they are the highest in Austria and among the most impressive in Europe. We proceed to INNSBRUCK, the capital of Tyrol, nestled among mountains and featuring a delightful pedestrian center where the famous Golden Roof stands out.


Day 6: Innsbruck - Zugspitze - Feldkirch

Today we’ll enjoy a day filled with extraordinary scenery. We’ll head to ZUGSPITZE, on the border between AUSTRIA and GERMANY. We’ll take the cable car (included) up to the summit of Germany’s highest mountain. On clear days, you can see a panoramic view of the snow-covered peaks stretching across four countries. After that, we’ll travel to REUTTE, where we’ll walk across the longest “Tibetan bridge” in Europe (admission included), surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. We’ll then continue to FELDKIRCH, near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany—an enchanting walled town with a beautiful medieval old town and a castle. Free time.


Day 7: Feldkirch - Lake Constance - Lindau - Munich

We travel to GERMANY. We’ll have time for a walk in LINDAU, on Lake Constance; the old town is located on a small island. We then continue to MUNICH, the capital of Bavaria. Before entering the city, we’ll visit DACHAU, where we’ll tour the museum of the former Nazi concentration camp. Free time for lunch. In Munich, we’ll visit the impressive BMW Welt complex (the BMW World), a very modern multifunctional exhibition center of the prestigious German automobile brand, as well as the park where the architecturally stunning Olympiastadion is located—the site of the famous 1972 Olympic Games. Afterwards, you’ll have free time in the historic city center, where you can enjoy the traditional beer halls.


Day 8: Munich - Cesky Krumlov - Telc - Brno

We’ll leave Munich early and cross into the CZECH REPUBLIC. We’ll visit CESKY KRUMLOV, a medieval jewel in Southern Bohemia, famous for its castle overlooking the Vltava River and its picturesque old town with cobblestone streets. The city, declared a World Heritage Site, offers a fairytale atmosphere and unforgettable views. Free time to stroll. After lunchtime we travel to TELC, another medieval jewel and World Heritage Site, with a well-preserved historic center featuring a triangular main square surrounded by Renaissance and Baroque burgher houses and its Renaissance castle. We then continue to BRNO, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic, a vibrant cultural destination with a historic center full of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. The city is known for its youthful atmosphere, thriving food scene, and cozy cafés.


Day 9: Brno

Today we’ll explore the Moravia region in greater depth, visiting several sites near Brno. First, we’ll see the beautiful gardens of the LEDNICE Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site created by the Liechtenstein family. Afterwards, we’ll head to VALTICE, where we’ll include a visit to its imposing Baroque palace and enjoy a tasting of local wine from this region, renowned for its winemaking tradition. We then continue to MIKULOV, a small town with a very picturesque center and a large castle dominating the city. Free time for lunch and a stroll. We return to BRNO, arriving in the mid-afternoon.


Day 10: Brno - Bratislava - Trencin - Krakow

We’ll depart early from Brno and travel to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, a charming city on the banks of the Danube with a beautifully preserved historic center. You´ll have time to explore its picturesque streets before continuing our journey.Next, we’ll visit Trencin, a small medieval town in western Slovakia, known for its impressive castle and vibrant historic center. We’ll have time to stroll around and enjoy lunch.In the afternoon, we’ll continue our route through scenic landscapes of forests and rolling hills as we make our way to Poland. We’ll arrive in Krakow at the end of the day.


Day 11: Krakow - Auschwitz - Czestochowa - Warsaw

We head south of the CZECH REPUBLIC to discover the landscapes of Bohemia. We visit České Budějovice, with its charming historic center, and then Český Krumlov, a medieval gem declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After free time, we return to PRAGUE, arriving in the mid-afternoon.In the morning we include a panoramic visit with a local guide in KRAKOW, the capital of “Little Poland,” founded in the 7th century, whose old town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During our visit, we will see, in addition to its beautiful medieval streets, the Market Square, one of the largest in Europe and the heart of the city, as well as Wawel Hill, the former residence of Polish kings.After lunchtime we travel to AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU, the former concentration camp that reminds us of dark moments in Europe’s history. We will visit Camp II, Birkenau, where trains arrived from all over Europe.Later in CZESTOCHOWA, we visit the Monastery of Jasna Góra, home to the Black Madonna, a highly frequented pilgrimage site.Arrival in WARSAW at the end of the afternoon.Note: Sometimes it can be difficult to obtain the required entry tickets for Auschwitz. In such cases, the program may be modified (usually by entering the concentration camp at a later hour and visiting Wadowice instead of Czestochowa).


Day 12: Warsaw

We’ll start the day with a panoramic tour of WARSAW with a local guide. Home to nearly two million people, this political and economic hub of Poland boasts a blend of modern architecture and meticulously restored historic buildings. We’ll stroll through the charming old town, featuring many old buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobbled streets, all restored after their destruction in World War II and now declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll visit the Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, reflect on the history of what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, and wander through Lazienki Park, home to the Chopin Monument.You’ll have free time in the afternoon to visit museums, such as the National Museum and the Warsaw Rising Museum, or to explore the lively city center filled with shops and activities.


Day 13: Warsaw

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
