ITINERARY
DAY 1
Airport reception and transfer to selected hotel.
In the afternoon, we will allow us to know Mendoza, one of the most beautiful city in the country. We will start with the old city, the side where it was founded. Next, we´ll continue along the Alameda promenade until we reach tyhe downtown área to visit the main square Independence and the famous Emilio Civit avenue until we reach the emblematic General San Martín Park with “Hill of Glory”. Then, we´ll pass the Malvinas Argentina World, Cup Stadium, and the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater where the main evento of the National Grape Harvest Festival. Back to Hotel.
DAY 2
Breakfast. Full Day Higt Mountain Tour. Leaving through International Route No.7, we will pass through places of extraordinary beauty
such as Potrerillos and Uspallata. We will reach the center of the ski resort “Los Penitentes”, and shortly after “Puente del Inca”. Then, we will stop at the Aconcagua viewpoint to enjoy the scenery. Lunch is not included.
DAY 3
Breakfast. In the morning, we´ll go to the Termas de Cacheutas hotel to enjoy a day of relax in the termal waters offered by the circuit located in the pre-Andes. At noon, we will enjoy a buffet lunch. Drinks not included. In the afternoon, return to Hotel.
DAY 4
In the morning, we will leave the hotel and visit two wineries with lunch included. We´ll head to the central agricultural oasis to visit two
wineries corresponding to the selected circuit, touring their facilities and enjoying the tasting of their wines. We´ll learn about the different varietals
of the region, their elaboration processes, as well as the care, aging and fractionation of different types of wines, the conduction and irrigation
systems. At noon in one of the wineries we visit, we will participate in a gourmet lunch of Maridados. The sommelier will teach us about wines and wine pairing. In the afternoon we will move to the selected inn.
DAY 5
Optional excursion - passengers can take Uco Valley excursion. We leave the lodge to discover the growing oasis of high-end wines. We will delight in the most prestigious wineries, heading to the wine oasis of the Uco Valley, where the most prestigious wineries producing premium wines are located and where the landscape provides a unique value to this circuit. The tour will include a visit to 2 wineries, touring their facilities and enjoying a tasting of their wines. We will learn about the care, aging and fractionation of different types of wines. We will also learn about vine training and irrigation systems. At noon we will have lunch at the restaurant of the selected winery, enjoying a renowned cuisine. We will practice the tasting techniques and the sommelier will explain in detail about the wine pairing and the wines to be tasted. In the afternoon, return to the inn.
DAY 6
Breakfast and check out. Transfer from hotel to Mendoza airport.
